Together is built so there is nothing to take.

No server database. Profile, connections, sessions and settings live in your browser (IndexedDB).
The server only serves pages and answers a clock check. Standard web server logs (IP, time) may be kept briefly for security.
Live Room: your emotion, the place you choose and a random per-visit id are held in the relay's memory only while you are in the Room. Strangers cannot message each other; the only thing they can send is an anonymous light with no text and no sender information, which is never stored. Messages between people who added each other's cards are passed on, kept in memory for at most 24 hours if the recipient is offline, then discarded. Send limits and a hashed network address are also memory-only and vanish on restart. Messages are not logged or written to disk.
Check-ins, notes, your inner sky and your safety plan stay in your browser. They are never sent to the server.
No analytics, ads, third-party scripts or fonts.
A passcode is a local lock, not encryption. Clearing browser data deletes your space, so export backups.
Shared links contain what you choose to share (name, duration). Anyone with a link can open it.
